Tioga Downs Announces Official Wine List to Debut on May 23

Tioga Downs Casino is pleased to officially announce the content of their wine list set to debut on May 23, in conjunction with “Vino at the Casino.” The announcement is significant in that Tioga Downs Casino is the first destination tourism attraction in the nation to offer an offering of wines exclusively from the Finger Lakes Region of New York.

The following Wineries and their featured wines will appear on the inaugural Wine List from Tioga Downs Casino:

The wine list will begin by featuring eight regional wineries, with many offerings available both by the glass and the bottle. Tioga Downs Casino food and beverage staff plans to expand the list over time, as the popularity of Finger Lakes Wines continues to grow. In addition, Tioga Downs Casino will be producing beverages from some of the featured wines, including sangria and frozen wine beverages.

Tioga Downs will begin providing wines on the list beginning May 23, 2009, which coincides with the “Vino at the Casino” Wine Festival to be held trackside from 2:00pm until 9:00pm.
