Tye Loy shipped into town with newcomer Sand Windsor on Friday night and took home the featured $16,500 Fillies and Mares open handicap pace.Leaving from the rail, Sand Windsor worked out a perfect second over cover trip and tipped three wide as the field passed three quarters in 1:24.4.
Down the stretch, Greg Grismore asked for more from Sand Windsor and she responded opening up on the field to score her second win of the season in 1:53.4.
The 4-year old daughter of Real Desire – Time N Again is owned by Bill Sanders of McDonald, TN, and with the win increased her seasonal earnings to more than $293,000.
Lickcreek Jazzy (Ed Hensley) finished second, while Leanback Coco (Phil Fluet) closed late for third.
Corey Braden and Ed Hensley each posted driving triples on the night's 12-race card, while Greg Merton chalked up two wins.
