American Racing and Entertainment CEO, Jeff Gural, presents checks totaling over $100,000 to local charities



Tioga Downs Casino held a press conference this past Sunday, and CEO Jeff Gural presented checks to local organizations and charities.

Gural presented the Southern Tier Veteran's Support Group with a check for $65,011 to Al Eaton from this summer's Wynonna Judd concert where all ticket proceeds were donated to the Veterans.

Rod Ballengee and Dot Richters were on hand to receive their checks for the Salvation Army and Community Care Network from the proceeds of the Sha Na Na concert and County Fair Buffet donations from customers aiding to the flood relief.

Salvation Army received a check for $14,195 while Community Care Network was presented with $10,000.

Finally, two personal $5,000 donations from Jeff Gural were made to CHOW (Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse) and Marine Corp League.

The $5,000 donation to the Marine Corp League will be used to purchase gifts for kids 11–13 years of age in the local area who were affected by the September flood.

In addition to the $5,000, gifts were also donated to the Marine Corp League which amounted to over $10,000.
