Horowitz is a familiar face to the American Racing &
Entertainment family as he previously served as the Senior Regional Social
Marketing Coordinator for the past two years.
“Justin is an asset not only to our company but to the
future of the sport of harness racing,” said Jason M. Settlemoir, Vice President
of Racing and Simulcast. “His creativity and his knack for getting new fans
interested in our sport are unmatched.”
Horowitz will continue his role as executive producer
and host of the popular, weekly television show “Inside Harness Racing,” which
can be seen on Time Warner Cable Sports throughout Upstate New York, HPI TV in
Canada and online on the Tioga Downs
and Vernon Downs You Tube channel (www.youtube.com/TiogaDowns).
“This is a great opportunity for me to continue to grow
as a marketing professional within the horse racing industry,” said Horowitz.
“Horse racing has always been a passion of mine and as a young person; I hope to
help attract younger people like myself to our great
game.”
Fans of Tioga Downs and Vernon Downs will still be able
to interact with Horowitz via the tracks’ social media networks as he will
remain administrator.
