Gural to Present Check to STVSG on Wednesday, August 23
Nichols,
N.Y. – August 15, 2017
– Tioga Downs and the Gural family are thrilled to announce that last month’s
38 Special Concert raised $110,000 for the Southern Tier Veteran’s Support
Group.
“We are forever in debt to the men and
women who have bravely served our country’s military,” Jeff Gural, Chairman of
American Racing & Entertainment, said. “We’re proud to have surpassed our goal
of $100,000. While we can never fully repay them their service and sacrifice,
we know this money will go a long way toward assisting our veterans.”
Our local media partners are encouraged
to attend a check presentation on Wednesday, August 23 at 2 p.m. at Tioga Downs
Casino, located at 2384 West River Road in Nichols. Veterans will be on hand to
thank Mr. Gural and Tioga Downs for their support. The mission of the Southern
Tier Veterans Support Group (STVSG) is to provide a network of resources for
local veterans, service members and their families.
Tickets to the concert were $15 each.
For every ticket sold, Jeff and Paula Gural donated an additional $15 to help our
veterans in the Southern Tier.
