Dejarmbro leads NYSS divisions at Tioga Downs on Sunday afternoon

Fresh off his impressive 1:52.2 triumph in the $500,000 Earl Beal Final at Pocono Downs, Dejarmbro will look for his fourth straight win Sunday afternoon at Tioga Downs in a division of the New York Sire Stakes.

Trainer Trond Smedshammer will do the driving for the Purple Haze Stable of Fairport, NY in the fifth of six divisions for sophomore trotting colts, listed as race number nine on the card.

Dejarmbro's stable mate, I’m The Answer, will also race on Sunday afternoon in the third division (Race 5) after making a miscue in the Beal Final and finishing eighth.

However, I'm The Answer carries a mark of 1:52.4 from the Beal elimination a week earlier and will leave from post position number one for trainer-driver Trond Smedshammer.

A total of 11 NYSS divisions cover the 11-race card on Sunday afternoon and will feature six divisions for 3-year-old trotting colts and geldings, and five divisions for 3-year-old trotting fillies.

Post time for the 11-race card is scheduled at 1:30 pm.
