Kiddie McCardle and Corey Braden took home Friday night's
$16,500 featured fillies and mares open handicap pace at Tioga Downs.
Leaving
from post position number three in a field of seven, Braden settled in third as
Itstimeformetofly (Lewayne Miller) was on top through an opening quarter in
26.4.

Runaway Tray (Jim Taggart Jr.), last week's winner, sat in the pocket
past the half mile mark of the race in 56.
As the field straightened up and headed towards three
quarters, Kiddie McCardle applied heavy first over pressure through a third panel
in 27.4, reaching three quarters in 1:23.4.
Around the final turn, Braden
cleared to the front and coasted home a winner, lengths in front of Runaway
Tray who shook loose for second, while Bunny In The Bank (Jim Meittinis) closed
late for third.
The win was the seventh of the year for Kiddie McCardle who
is owned by Mark Goldberg of Washington,
Pa. and is trained by David
Duspiva.
With the win, Kiddie McCardle pushed her seasonal earnings to more
than $73,000.
